The unique invitational statusgranted to just four other stops on the PGA Tourallows the tournament more control over its field than a standard PGA event. Only required to invite the top 75 money finishers from the previous PGA season, the tournament can fill its smaller field (roughly 132 players) with any international stars it pleases.
